    Weenja is a freelance platform that connects clients with skilled professionals in Uganda. Our platform provides a convenient and reliable way for clients to find and hire talented freelancers for a wide range of services, including graphic design, writing, digital marketing, programming, and more.

  • How do I post a job on Weenja?

    Posting a job on Weenja is easy. Simply create an account, log in to your dashboard, and click on the "Post a Job" button. Fill out the job details, including the title, description, budget, and deadline, and then submit your job. Once your job is posted, freelancers will be able to see it and apply.

  • How do I find a freelancer on Weenja?

    Weenja makes it easy to find a freelancer for your project. Simply search for freelancers by keyword or category, and then browse their profiles to learn more about their experience, skills, and ratings. You can also view their portfolios, reviews, and work history to help you make an informed decision.

  • How does payment work on Weenja?

    Weenja offers a secure and convenient payment system for both clients and freelancers. Clients can pay freelancers through our platform using their preferred payment method, including credit card and Mobile Money. We also offer payment protection to ensure that both parties are satisfied with the work and payment

  • How does Weenja ensure quality and customer satisfaction?

    Weenja has a variety of tools and features in place to ensure quality and customer satisfaction. We have a review system that allows clients to rate and review freelancers based on their performance. We also offer dispute resolution services in case there are any issues with the project. Additionally, we have a customer support team that is available 24/7 to assist clients with any questions or concerns they may have.

  • How to complete your profile

    To complete your profile, go to your Account Settings and follow these five simple steps:

    1. Enter your real name. This will be visible to all Kwork users and increases trust in you and Kwork as a platform.

    2. Tell us who you are in one short phrase. For example, “PHP and MySQL Backend Developer” or “Professional UX Writer.”

    3. Complete the “About You” section.

    • Explain what you do and why buyers should turn to you for their needs
    • Describe your professional experience. How many years of experience do you have in your field? What kind of projects have you completed? What are you most proud of in your work?
    • Remember to include any other relevant details such as the technology or programs you work with, specialized knowledge you may have, cultures or languages you are familiar with, etc.

    60acd7fc1a49b.jpgNote: Do not include your personal contact information in your profile. This includes, but is not limited to, your phone number, email, personal website, links to your social media accounts, and messaging apps (WhatsApp, Telegram, etc.).

    Sharing and exchanging contacting information is forbidden per our Terms of Service.

    4. Upload a photo and a profile banner. We suggest using a real photo so that buyers will know who they are working with.

    • Your profile picture shouldn’t exceed 6000 x 6000 px or 10 MB.
    • Accepted formats: JPG, JPEG, PNG
    • Your profile banner should be bigger than 1920 x 226 px.

    5. Don’t forget to hit Save!

  • How to Request Account and Data Deletion

    We understand the importance of your privacy and the control over your personal data. If at any point you decide that you would like to delete your account and remove all associated data, please follow these simple steps to submit your request:

    1. Log In to Your Account: Start by logging into your account on our platform. This ensures that the request is coming directly from the account holder.

    2. Go to the Settings Page: Once logged in, navigate to the settings or account management page. Here, you'll find various options related to your account preferences and personal information.

    3. Submit a Deletion Request:

      • Look for a section labeled "Privacy" or "Account Management."
      • Within this section, there should be an option to "Request Account Deletion" or something similar. Select this option.
      • You may be asked to provide a reason for your request. While this is optional, your feedback can help us improve our services.
    4. Confirm Your Identity: For the security of your account, you may be required to verify your identity. This can be done through email verification, answering security questions, or providing a government-issued ID, depending on the platform's requirements.

    5. Review and Submit: Before submitting your request, please review the information regarding what data will be deleted and the potential consequences (e.g., loss of access to services or content). If you agree, confirm your decision and submit the request.

    6. Confirmation: You will receive a confirmation message or email acknowledging your request. The deletion process may take some time, and further communication will be sent once your account and data have been successfully deleted.

    Important Notes:

    • Backup Your Data: Before submitting a deletion request, we recommend backing up any important information or content you may want to keep.
    • Reactivation: Understand that once your account is deleted, it may not be recoverable. If you might want to use our services in the future, consider deactivating your account instead, if available.
    • Support: If you encounter any issues or have questions during this process, please don't hesitate to contact our support team for assistance.
